Perhaps this children school Composition exercise would help to prevent the writer’s block.
The teacher gave every student a gigantic cardboard strip with a word written on it. That day, the homework was to write a sentence using the written word on the cardboard strip.
The next day homework was to write a paragraph using the sentence we wrote for homework the previous day.
The homework for the weekend was to write at least one additional paragraph.
Since that day, I use a big strip of paper with the main word on it, stick it to a big chalkboard and write about the word on the strip of paper.
Well, it could be an idea, statement, though, name, phrase or even a number, not necessary a single word.
